Joni Cantrell was the winner of our Golden Pitchfork award. This award is given to someone who doesn't own or show a horse, but supports our horse community. Joni supports her daughter Josie's love of horses through driving her to countless practice and shows, encouraging the friendships among youth riders, and by capturing memories through photographs not only of her daughter but of the entire GKCAHA community.

Mike Grimm (center) was the winner of our Member of the Year Award. This award is given to someone who stands out as a truly dedicated member of our club, someone who steps up when nobody else will and who humbly goes the extra mile without expecting praise for their work. Mike is a local horse trainer, an AHA judge, and also happens to be president of the GKCAHA club.
